Fundamentals of Internet Marketing (Tips and techniques)

Internet marketing can be very fun. 

Especially if you enjoy typing, reading, and writing. 

So if you picked a subject (niche) that you are enthused about, good, that would make your internet marketing experiance just that much more enjoyable. For instance if you enjoy kite flying as a hobby then there wouldn't be too much of a problem for you to write an article about the different styles of kites that are available. 

Your intricate kite knowledge may allow you to be aware of the best string to use. The best material to construct a kite with. You might be able to write and/or make a video on the best techniques on flying a kite to its greatest heights. You see marketing in my humble opinion is just another way of saying sales. You are trying to get someone (your prospect) to make a decision to buy a product that you have found to be worth selling.

 So in some ways it might be a good idea to look at internet marketing as another way of being involved in sales.
  1. First you must find your prospect
  2. You must create a desire in your prospect
  3. Getting your prospect to make a decision to buy
  4. Delivering your product in a professional way
So now we know that everyone has a little salesperson in them and that everyone has a little customer in them.

If you have ever convinced your friends or family into going somewhere with you after they showed signs of resistance to your idea, then you sold them on your idea. 

Have you ever got your parents or relatives to buy you something as a kid, that they otherwise wouldn't have bought you? If you did then you sold them on buying you something. Or maybe at your place of work you turned a potential/non-potential prospect into a buyer. 

If you have experienced anything like or similar to the aforementioned scenarios then you have the experience of being a salesperson. Anytime you have purchased anything you were a buying prospect.


For the honest business person who is going to keep their business fair and happy, their buying prospects will always be happy and will continue to spend money with that business. 

How many times have you purchased a product or service and not been happy about it? I know I have many times and probably will do it again. 

So most of those places I more than likely won't spend any more money with. So me as a business person do not deliver products or services that are not authentic. So with internet marketing I get to help people solve problems. That in itself is worth more than any amount  of money.
